Kaylan and Ty were married at St Joseph's Parish in Leitchfield Kentucky on a drizzly gray spring day. The weather was a surprise for all of us, and our original plans for an outdoor first look had to shift last minute. My incredible second shooter Chelsea found this perfect location and the kind folk at Welcome Home Realty for letting us use their building. It was the perfect setting for this timeless couple to have their first look and portraits. I personally love Catholic Wedding Ceremonies - not always the popular opinion - because I feel like the extra time and extra ritual really hammers home the magnitude of what getting married means. Also I like the extra time because I get to find cooler angles and be a little more creative with framing which is always nice! Post ceremony we headed to the reception site at The Center on Main in Leitchfield Kentucky and Kaylan and Ty were gracious enough to try out a phone light wedding dance and the results were magical!
